I have had several people ask me how do I do my hair. So this is my tutorial for how I do it, what I use and the steps I take to get it done.
This is how it looks when I am done | Don't worry about the parts in the back. |
The hair will cover the parts later. | All you have to do is shake it. |
This was done 3 months after the top photo's. | So was this. |
This kit cost $3.99 | These are $3.99 each also and they last me at least 3 or 4 months. |
Tools of the trade. | I use two mirrors. |
I wash my hair and let it almost air dry.
| I combed and pick it out. |
Now I separate my hair and put the sections in rubber bands.
Now, I take one rubber band off at a time. I start on the side; it doesn't matter which side.
I apply the softener to the area that I took a loose. I use the rat tail comb to part and then brush. I Brush until I make the hair curly; I also use a tooth brush. I make sure the hair is well moisturized, not too wet; it will take longer to dry. | I part the hair and brush some more. I hold the hair with two fingers at the root, then with the other hand I twirl the hair working it down to the end. After you start twirling use one finger to hold the hair in place. I use-to wear twist with two strands but now I twirl; it's faster. |

When I do the back I never worry about the parts, I just make them small enough so it's unseen.
I always leave the top for last. This hair will cover any parts that you don't want to see.
After it dries I sleep in a bonnet. |
